Every range figure on this page is Mahindra’s claimed or certified number, published as claimed. Expect roughly 72–80% of it in ordinary Indian conditions, and the lower end at highway speed with the air conditioning running — the working behind that band is set out in how we estimate real-world range, and the table below shows both figures so you can plan around the realistic one.

Which Mahindra EV should you buy?

Across the Mahindra range the answer turns on one number, and it is not the one most buyers start with: how far you drive on a typical day, not the longest trip you take in a year.

If your day is under 40 km and you can charge at home, the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV at ₹13.89 lakh is the sensible entry to the range — a realistic 328–365 km means you plug in once or twice a week and stop thinking about it. Paying for more range than that buys weight and price you will not use.

If you drive intercity often, the Mahindra BE 6 is the one to look at — a claimed 682 km works out near 518 km in ordinary conditions, which is the difference between planning a trip and simply making it.

For regular highway running, note that the Mahindra BE 6 claims about 20 minutes on a DC fast charger — a number that repeats on every trip and matters more than range once you are past about 300 km.
