Editor, EVBharat. I run this site, maintain the vehicle database behind it, and am responsible for everything published here.
What I do here
EVBharat exists because buying an electric vehicle in India still means reading a brochure number, discounting it by an unknown amount, and hoping. I built this site to close that gap: every vehicle on it carries the manufacturer's claimed range next to a realistic figure, with the method stated in the open rather than buried.
Day to day that means keeping the database of electric cars and two-wheelers on sale in India current as prices and variants change, writing the buying guides, and applying the same range estimation method to every vehicle so that two cars on this site can actually be compared.
Where I come from
My background is in digital media and performance marketing, where the job is to tell the difference between a number that means something and a number that was chosen to look good. That is most of what EV buying research needs in India right now.
I am not an automotive engineer and this site does not pretend otherwise. EVBharat does not road-test vehicles. What it does is collect manufacturer data carefully, apply one consistent method for translating claims into realistic expectations, show the arithmetic behind every running-cost figure, and cite other people's road tests by name when they exist.
What I will not do
No brand or dealer has ever paid to change a recommendation on this site, and none sees a page before it is published. Where a link earns EVBharat money, the page says so. The full set of commitments is on our editorial policy page.

Corrections and contact
If a price or specification here is wrong, I want to know. Write through the contact page and it reaches me, not a queue. Factual errors get corrected as soon as the right figure can be verified, and the page date changes when they do.
